New York belongs to Tommy Egan and Tariq St. Patrick once more.

Starz officially ordered Power: Legacy, bringing Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr. into the same drama after spending years on separate paths. The new series follows the ending of Power Book IV: Force and places both men on a collision course beneath the same skyline.

Chicago turned Tommy into a feared operator. Tariq built his own name while carrying the weight of the St. Patrick family. Those journeys now intersect, creating an alliance that could make both men richer or leave both men exposed.

Executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson called the project the biggest chapter yet and pointed to the long wait viewers have endured to see Tommy and Tariq sharing the screen full time, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bright towers, crowded streets and old grudges form the backdrop. Starz says the pair will attempt to seize control of territory that rarely stays in one set of hands for long. Money, loyalty and ambition rarely travel together without creating problems.

Power first arrived in 2014 and grew into one of Starz's defining properties. Tommy carried the Chicago branch. Tariq stepped into the spotlight through Power Book II: Ghost. Both characters proved capable of drawing large audiences on their own before this crossover became reality.

Gary Lennon will oversee the new series after helping shape multiple entries connected to the brand. Starz and Lionsgate Television are backing the project as the network continues investing heavily in stories tied to the criminal world first introduced by Ghost.

Raising Kanan is approaching its farewell run while Power: Origins moves deeper into the early lives of Ghost and Tommy. Multiple corners of the television universe now operate at the same time, each exploring a different piece of the larger mythology.

Months of rumors finally turned into something concrete. Tommy built influence through force. Tariq relied on calculation. Soon both men will be chasing the same prize beneath the same skyline, a combination that rarely leaves room for peace.
