Donald Trump's latest financial disclosure shows cryptocurrency has overtaken real estate as the biggest source of his reported income, marking one of the most dramatic shifts in the business portfolio that made him a billionaire. The nearly 1,000-page filing details more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency-related earnings, illustrating how digital assets have eclipsed hotels, golf resorts, and commercial properties as his primary revenue generator.

Spanning more than 900 pages, the filing documents a dramatic shift in Trump's revenue during 2025. World Liberty Financial and CIC Digital LLC generated the largest share of his reported earnings, while golf resorts, licensing agreements, branded merchandise, and traditional real estate holdings continued bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars.

Mar-a-Lago, Bedminster, overseas licensing agreements, hotels, and golf clubs remained valuable pieces of Trump's portfolio, generating substantial revenue throughout the year. Even so, digital assets outperformed the real estate ventures that had long served as the centerpiece of his business career, marking one of the most significant financial shifts since he entered politics.

World Liberty Financial and CIC Digital LLC also generated income from governance token sales, meme coin licensing, cryptocurrency royalties, and related digital ventures, as reported by The Associated Press. White House officials continue to reject suggestions of conflicts of interest, maintaining that Trump does not participate in managing the family's businesses while serving as president.

Branded consumer products remained another profitable segment of Trump's portfolio. The disclosure lists revenue from watches, books, fragrances, guitars, sneakers, Bibles, and additional licensing agreements, illustrating how his business interests extend well beyond finance, hospitality, and commercial real estate.

Few presidential financial reports have documented such a dramatic transition in wealth generation. The filing captures a business portfolio increasingly centered on cryptocurrency while preserving sizable earnings from longstanding real estate investments, golf properties, licensing partnerships, and legal returns.

Ethics questions resurfaced soon after the disclosure became public as critics pointed to the administration's support for cryptocurrency while Trump's digital asset businesses expanded. White House officials insist all applicable ethics standards have been followed and continue to reject allegations of conflicts involving the president's private financial interests.

Originally, skyscrapers, golf courses, and luxury properties defined Trump's financial identity. His latest disclosure signals that cryptocurrency has moved to the center of that fortune, illustrating how rapidly digital assets have reshaped both his business holdings and the broader investment world.
