Megan Thee Stallion is refusing to hand over more than $1.2 million sought by celebrity stylist Eric Archibald and styling firm Six K, arguing that the paperwork behind the demand cannot be trusted.
The Houston rapper says the amount being pursued includes expenses she never approved and work she never received. Her camp maintains that significant portions of the material submitted against her contain problems that call the billing into question.
Archibald and Six K recently filed a lawsuit seeking $1,243,501.98 for styling services allegedly provided between January 2025 and January 2026. According to People Magazine, the plaintiffs claim invoices and deal memos were sent to entities connected to Megan and that email exchanges show those materials were acknowledged. The filing states that each invoice was backed by a deal memo that had been acknowledged through email correspondence.
Megan's team pushed back with its own findings. Attorneys working on her behalf say an internal examination uncovered what they describe as fraudulent invoices, unsupported expenses, and wardrobe shipments connected to addresses that could not be verified. In a statement provided to People, Megan said, "The facts are on our side and I won't be coerced into paying charges that can't be substantiated."
Designer gowns, assistants, wardrobe preparation, and other styling costs appear throughout the filings. One itemized memo tied to the Pete & Thomas Foundation Inaugural Gala listed $53,800 in expenses connected to preparation work, assistants, and three gowns. The stylists maintain they spent months attempting to collect the money and contend the balance remains unpaid.
The complaint also alleges that a portion of the money sought is tied to vendors who have not been paid. Archibald and Six K argue the unpaid invoices have caused professional and personal harm while they continue seeking compensation through the Los Angeles County action.
Neither party appears willing to change course. What started as a disagreement over fashion expenses has become a test of whose paperwork carries greater weight. One camp says the work was completed and compensation never arrived. Megan's side says the numbers do not hold up when examined alongside the material gathered during its review. The next stage will depend on which account is supported by the strongest evidence.
