Chiquita Wilder says a package delivery in a metro Atlanta neighborhood took an unexpected turn when a woman questioned why she was there.

Instagram comments posted by Wilder state that she had pulled into a driveway to drop off a package and had barely come to a stop before someone walked toward her. According to Atlanta Black Star, objections first centered on access near a garage.

Parking was the starting point. Wilder said talk about the driveway soon moved beyond where her car was sitting.

Standing nearby, the woman allegedly told her, "You don't belong here." Wilder said that sentence remained with her long after she pulled away from the address.

Package deliveries had taken her through similar areas many times before. Nothing about the home suggested this stop would stand apart from many others completed during a shift.

Wilder has maintained that only about five seconds passed between pulling into the driveway and being approached. She emphasized that very little time elapsed before the woman walked over.

Five seconds after pulling into the driveway, Wilder says the stop changed direction. Her focus was on delivering a package and moving on to the next address when the woman approached.

Delivery drivers often spend only moments at each location before heading to another address. Wilder indicated that her visit was expected to follow that same pattern, with a package handed off and the route continuing without interruption.

The woman has not been publicly identified. Information released so far does not indicate any further contact between the two after those moments near the driveway.

Concrete beneath her tires, a package waiting for delivery, and words from a stranger formed the backdrop for the stop. Wilder continued toward her next destination carrying those words with her long after leaving the neighborhood behind that day.
