DaBaby has reached a settlement that will bring a Los Angeles lawsuit tied to a February 2022 bowling alley altercation to an end. The agreement moves a dispute that lingered for years toward a formal conclusion after extensive legal activity surrounding the incident.

Brandon Curiel, who performs as Brandon Bill$, sued the rapper after an encounter at Corbin Bowl in Topanga. As reported by Rolling Stone, paperwork filed last week shows both sides reached an agreement and expect the lawsuit to be dismissed within 45 days.

Months before they crossed paths inside the bowling alley, tensions had already been building. Curiel publicly criticized DaBaby following the rapper's split from singer DaniLeigh, and exchanges between the two men continued before they eventually found themselves in Topanga.

Video recorded inside Corbin Bowl later became a major piece of evidence. Footage captured a chaotic scene near the lanes as several people converged around the altercation, drawing attention to activity unfolding near the bowling lanes.

Curiel alleged DaBaby approached him before punches were thrown. Testimony referenced in the lawsuit claimed the rapper said, "I just want to slap you up a bit. I just want to slap you around a little bit." The quoted statement.
