Jonathan Majors has returned to the screen in his first major film since his 2023 assault conviction, starring in Daily Wire's upcoming action movie "Run Hide Fight: Infidels." Its trailer centers on a pro-Palestine campus encampment overtaken by radical Islamic terrorists seeking to impose Sharia law while a Delta Force veteran, students, and a security guard organize a counterattack.

"Run Hide Fight: Infidels" casts Majors as the former special operations soldier leading the effort to stop the assault after the campus falls under extremist control. Promotional material closes with the message, "Coming soon...Or already here," following a montage that includes footage from the September 11 attacks, Gaza war demonstrations, and television news clips.

Months before the teaser debuted, a stunt accident sent Majors and co-star JC Kilcoyne through a window, leading several crew members to walk off the South Carolina production over safety concerns. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, producer Dallas Sonnier said Majors remains fully committed to promoting the film despite criticism surrounding its premise.

Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro is producing the project alongside Dallas Sonnier and Bonfire Legend. Written and directed by Kyle Rankin, the movie was filmed under the working title "Knuckle" before being unveiled as a standalone follow-up to the 2020 thriller "Run Hide Fight."

Majors lost several high-profile Hollywood opportunities after his conviction and later received a sentence that included probation and a domestic violence intervention program. Headlining the Daily Wire production marks his most prominent acting role since leaving the Marvel franchise and represents his first leading feature released after the conviction.

Daily Wire+ plans to release the film later this year. Sonnier said the creative team intentionally modeled the production after 1980s action films starring Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, arguing that modern Hollywood has largely abandoned that style of storytelling.
