Ye is preparing for one of his biggest international performances in years after securing a concert deal to headline Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi, Georgia, on June 12, a booking arriving after controversies reshaped his public image and business relationships across entertainment and fashion.

Reported by The Wall Street Journal, roughly 70,000 tickets sold during the first day following the concert announcement, signaling strong demand for the rapper’s music despite years of backlash tied to antisemitic remarks and extremist rhetoric.

Israeli businessman Guy Beser partnered with Blue Stone Productions to organize the event inside Dinamo Arena, one of Eastern Europe’s largest concert venues. Beser also serves as chief executive of Live Nation Israel, a detail that intensified discussion surrounding the partnership because of the artist’s public history involving antisemitic comments.

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, spent recent years facing condemnation after making statements praising Adolf Hitler, spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories, and displaying swastika imagery tied to merchandise and music promotion.

One of the most damaging moments arrived in October 2022 when the rapper posted he planned to go “death con 3 on Jewish people,” triggering immediate fallout across entertainment, sports, and fashion industries.

Adidas, Balenciaga, Gap, and multiple corporate partners quickly ended business relationships with the rapper following the controversy. Financial analysts estimated the collapse of the Adidas partnership erased roughly $2 billion from his net worth within a single day.

Hollywood executive Ari Emanuel later urged entertainment companies to sever ties completely, escalating pressure surrounding the Chicago artist across several industries.

Accountability issues have followed nearly every public appearance tied to the performer since then. Critics continue challenging why promoters and corporate figures remain willing to partner with him despite repeated controversies involving race, antisemitism, and extremist symbolism.

Fans argue his influence across music, fashion, and popular culture still carries extraordinary commercial power regardless of public outrage or corporate distancing.

In January 2026, Ye issued another public apology tied to antisemitic remarks during comments discussed by The Wall Street Journal. Online reaction to that apology resurfaced almost immediately after news of the Georgia concert spread across social media.

For the rapper, the Tbilisi performance represents more than another overseas booking. It also shows his ability to attract enormous crowds remains intact despite years of cancellations, financial fallout, and public backlash.
